One of the main Disney Differences that clients can enjoy is the ability to bring together many different cross-functional teams in order to create highly immersive events. We spoke to Sr. Sales Manager, Creative Events, Brian Bosch who gave us a bit more insight about which of Disney's expert creative teams came together to bring this story to life. "On the entertainment team alone many players were an instrumental part of producing this one-of-a-kind event. In order to develop the story and overall set design, it took a variety of talented cast members from seamstresses and costumers to scenic painters and actors. Décor was center stage for this event, and our hard-working floral team went above and beyond to transform the event space with their elegantly crafted fresh floral arrangements and custom table accents."
Our creative team loves partnering with our clients to craft an event concept that ties them directly to their personal Disney story. This royally elegant event was not only highly themed, but also highly customized to the client. Brian shared that "every element in the room was designed to be about the client. We even created our own version of 'hidden mickeys' with 'hidden Davids' included as Easter eggs throughout the room. We worked with the client's best friend and wife to collect stories and photos from throughout his life in order to place his story at the center of our event. Our team made sure to include items that represented his hobbies and interests such as airplanes, dogs, grapes and even elephants. They were placed on bookshelves, within floral arrangements, in hanging tapestries, and even in the custom stained glass window."
Our expert culinary team developed not just a menu, but a highly themed feast that became as much décor as it was dinner. Our event expert, Brian, worked with the client's friends and family to execute a menu that reflected all of the client's personal favorites. Other potential customizations include creating a custom monogram or logo and utilizing that throughout the space (paper goods, food labels, etc.) or even creating a customized interactive game. The sky is truly the limit when you work with our dedicated team of professionals!
Finally, we asked Brian to share his personal favorite memory from this event. He recounted the moment when the space was revealed to the client with this inspiring anecdote - "Hands down my favorite moment was when I got to bring the clients in for the preview of the room before their guests. The room was set, and the lights were on, and no one else was around. I got to bring them into the room to experience it for the first time. When we parted the drapery and revealed the main ballroom it was an emotional moment. Not only for the client and his wife, but for me as well. It was months of planning and preparing, and to see it all come together was truly magical."
