In honor of Lunar New Year, we are excited to share another unexpected venue with you. Introducing: The Great Hall of China.
A quick trip from the Disney convention resorts, Epcot is home to a variety of private event venues that immerse attendees in a world of cultural wonder and history. Located within the China Pavilion in World Showcase, this venue can accommodate 75 to 180 Guests for a breakfast or dinner event, or up to 225 Guests for an evening reception. The artistry and accent pieces create a unique and beautiful setting for a classically elegant morning or evening event.
The pavilion’s vibrant shades of red (signifying ”˜luck’ in Asian cultures) are accented by intricate hand-painted patterns throughout the temple rotunda. The gentle glow from lanterns falls upon tapestries and wood carvings, creating an ambiance of peace and serenity that flows throughout the venue and sets the mood for a casual reception, elegant buffet, or formal dinner.
Disney’s floral team can help planners select thematic table décor for their event. Scarlet, burgundy, and gold are a perfect blend of colors for the floral arrangements, birdcage terrarium centerpieces, table runners, and satin napkins. The décor pairs perfectly with the beauty and elegance of the space, while also providing a unique touch to the event.
Planners can also add to the event’s agenda with Disney’s team of versatile performers, acrobats, and musicians. These entertainment options can engage attendees and immerse them in the setting.
As another added enhancement, planners can arrange a private viewing of Epcot’s nightly fireworks spectacular, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth for attendees at Walt Disney World Resort.
This unique event venue gives meeting and event planners the ability to arrange elements to fit their group, timeline, and budget to keep attendees engaged and excited. Various elements of food and beverage, décor, and entertainment can be tailored to the planner’s preferences.
