This advanced feature, currently available for guests staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, will be introduced at the other Walt Disney World Resorts in the near future. Check in online and bypass front desk check in with our inventive digital key. You’ll be one step closer to starting your meeting.
This new functionality will surely enhance your stay. The digital key will certainly come in handy and Magic Bands are still a great option for keyless room entry too! Attendees can use it to unlock their hotel entrance gate, common area doors that require a key and, most importantly, their hotel room.
Attendees can spend their time enjoying their meeting or their downtime at Walt Disney World Resort without having to keep track of traditional room keys.
Follow these simple steps to unlock the door at your Disney Resort hotel:
- If Bluetooth® on your mobile device is turned off, turn it on.
- Download and open the My Disney Experience app.
- Link your Disney Resort hotel reservation to your Disney account.
- View your Disney Resort hotel reservation.
- Select “Unlock Door”.
- Agree to use your device to unlock your door.
- Hold your mobile device against the door lock.
- If you wish to no longer use your phone to unlock your door, please visit the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel.
