Let’s meet Chris Anderson, Catering & Convention Services Manager at the Disneyland Resort:
What is your role, and how is it unique to assisting meeting and event planners?
As a Catering & Convention Services Manager, I have the great pleasure of bringing event planners and Disney experts together, to create one-of-a-kind immersive experiences.
Can you describe one of your best Disney memories related to your position assisting a convention/meeting group?
We hosted a private breakfast in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park prior to opening. This allowed the attendees to be the first group of guests on Radiator Springs Racers.
What is one of the greatest Disney Differences for attendees meeting at a Disney destination?
Disney is a world class leader in entertainment. Whether it’s watching a group of business leaders interact with Mickey Mouse, utilizing an atmosphere performer to help deliver your message in a unique and creative way, or enjoying a musical performance that brings your event to life, we have the creative resources in place to provide that Disney Difference.
What is your favorite part of your role?
Building lasting relationships with both our Disney cast members and treasured guests.
What can attendees look forward to when meeting at a Disney destination?
At Disneyland we are always looking for ways to offer our attendees different experiences throughout our resort. With exciting food & beverage offerings and immersive attractions coming to our Theme Parks, Guests will have something new to enjoy throughout the years to come.
