Earlier this month, Disney Institute hosted the 2018 Disney Institute Customer Experience Summit at the Disneyland Resort, where nearly 200 business professionals from 15 countries around the world learned insights on Disney best practices in perfecting the customer experience (CX).  

This was the first time the CX Summit was hosted at the Disneyland Resort, giving participants a unique experience that simply cannot be found anywhere else—the opportunity to walk in Walt Disney’s footsteps at the original Disney Theme Park and learn at the very place where modern-day Disney CX Summit truly began. 

Over the three-day summit, participants enjoyed a high-energy program packed with keynote presentations in the Sequoia Ballroom at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa led by top Disney leaders from Experience Development and Integration, Live Entertainment, and Walt Disney Imagineering.

Participants also enjoyed educational breakout sessions, group activities, field experiences into exclusive locations inside the Disneyland Resort, amazing evening networking events, and a few surprises filled with unsurpassed Disney magic! 

Not only did the Summit create a unique opportunity for participants to learn how Disney approaches CX—through the lens of leadership, service and employee engagement—it also allowed participants to meet classic Disney Characters, watch unparalleled entertainment, and dig into our unique food and beverage offerings!
