Now, another new experience awaits guests visiting this tropical paradise: KA WA”˜A – A Lū”˜au at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa!
Having made its official debut in November 2016, this all-new fete for the senses includes a sumptuous luau buffet followed by an immersive show experience with music and traditional Hawaiian dance. Before the luau, guests will enjoy special entertainment and activities such as lei making and ku”˜i kalo (taro pounding).
The local island buffet service features an abundance of offerings—from fresh salads and seasonally-sourced vegetables to braised imu-style pork and carving stations with whole roasted Hawai’i-raised suckling pig and slow-roasted prime rib. Decadent house-made desserts include haupia-coconut puddings and guava cakes, as well as tropical fruits. The dinner buffet also offers a special menu just for keiki, including favorites like shaka macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders, Mickey-shaped pastas and more.
