We’re thrilled to share a sneak peek at the major expansion and exciting enhancements coming to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort! The dramatic transformation of this Disney convention resort will make it even more appealing to meeting professionals and attendees.
Villa del Lago – Daytime Rendering
Attendees will be able to network over cold drinks and light fare at a new oasis built out over the water and connected by a series of bridges to other areas of the convention resort. Named “Villa del Lago”, this bar and grill is set to open in 2019 along with a new 15-story tower that will feature over 500 Guest rooms and concierge-level services.

In the meantime, attendees can enjoy the new Rix Sports Bar & Grill. This popular restaurant has been reimagined and is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also now accepts advanced dining reservations. This relaxed destination boasts a state-of-the-art viewing experience and a unique spin on classic bar food, sure to satisfy any sports fan’s taste buds.

Attendees can sample a variety of exciting appetizers, including lobster sliders, nachos, and “watchos”: crispy waffle fries loaded with queso blanco, bacon, and scallions. Entrees include Rix specialties, such as Rix Grilled Cheese, Rix Salad, and Rix Mahi Reuben. And, don’t forget to try the specialty craft cocktails cured in oak barrels or the beer flight featuring local draft beers!
